Server Rules

Core Rules

• You must be 18+ to join our server
• Don't be a jerk! No bigotry, sexism, kink shaming, or other forms of abuse like griefing, cheating, or trolling
• Player comfort first. Your fellow players are more important than story or roleplay. Respect their consent, privacy, and enjoyment
• This is a text RP server: We do not allow use of VC on our game server or Discord. In-game RP should be done in text!
• This is NOT a PvP server!
• When the bot asks, "Have you read the rules?" the code phrase is Orange Potato

Character Creation Rules

• Characters must be adult humans of your own creation with appropriate names. No minors allowed. This includes pregnancies, babies, and NPCs
• No special powers, sorcery, or supernatural beings allowed
• All characters must have a complete character sheet, including the consent section. COMPLETE YOUR CONSENT SHEET IN-GAME!

Build and Numerical Rules

• Keep your buildings realistic and immersive. No disobeying the laws of physics!
• Keep your build size realistic to the size of your clan and in ONE LOCATION. If you are one person, you don't need a whole castle to yourself
• Do not build over or in dungeons, existing camps/spawns, or in unique areas like ruins, caves, or admin structures without admin permission. This includes dungeons, boss spawns, unique forges, etc. When in doubt, ask!
• Clans may have ~500 build pieces and 250 deco items per member. We offer some leeway if you have people over for events and RP often!
• Clans may have 3 thralls, pets, or mounts per member

Server Performance Tips

• Decorate and build based on usage - rooms which see frequent RP should have more deco than private areas
• Use the ADC item from the /kit to reduce deco count
• Do not hoard items or resources!

Building Tips

• Find references and see how things are actually built in real life, especially for something like Japanese-style homes, 'cos they're not just American houses in another skin
• You probably will build too big. Don't be afraid to subtract once you walk around and realize you've built a McMansion. Use the half-walls if you can!
• Have an idea of what each room is while you're building! The purpose of a kitchen, for example, affects its shape

Discord Channels and Staff Contact

Proper Use of Discord Channels

• players-helping-players - This should be your first option for asking questions that aren't answered in-game. Open questions and discussion are encouraged here
• public-report - This channel is for reporting abandoned builds, lost thralls, etc. Posting the location coordinates (do CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+L in-game and paste to discord) and/or a screenshot with mini-map is very helpful
• private-tickets - The ticketing system is for major or private issues. The first option for questions should be asking in-game - in clan, global, or if necessary, in players-helping-players

Contacting Staff

This is a server for adults. You should sort out problems together to the satisfaction of all involved. If all else fails and you need assistance, open a ticket in private-ticket.

• Do not DM staff without prior permission
• If someone is being abusive, disruptive or toxic, document with screenshots! We cannot assist with issues outside the server, such as in DMs or voice chat
